Response times are based on drive distance from our West 45th Street headquarters, current crew availability, and how many active customers we have in each area. Austin, Round Rock, and Cedar Park have dedicated technicians stationed locally, which is why response times there are faster. More distant areas are served by scheduled visits from our central crews.
No. Everything within 35 miles of our Austin headquarters includes travel time at no additional charge — both for the initial install and for any subsequent maintenance or service visits. Beyond 35 miles we bill travel transparently (see our travel pricing tiers above), and we always quote it before scheduling work.
Yes. Our service area is defined by distance from Austin, not by city limits. We regularly install systems on rural properties, ranchland, and unincorporated county areas. Rural installs often require different approaches (long-range wireless links, cellular backup, solar power for remote cameras) and we're experienced with all of them.
Your existing equipment can be professionally uninstalled and reinstalled at your new address at a discounted labor rate — typically about 40% of a new install cost. If you're moving within Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, or Pflugerville, the same technician who installed your original system can usually handle the move.
Yes, extensively. We install resident-owned camera systems in individual condo units, and we work with HOA boards and property managers on building-wide systems (intercoms, access control, common-area surveillance). We're experienced with HOA approval processes and can coordinate with property management directly.
