Response Time

How fast we respond when something breaks.

Downtime in a security system means footage you'll never get back. That's why we publish our response times β€” and why our plans are structured to get a technician to your site as fast as possible.

Remote diagnosis first Most issues resolved over the phone or via remote login within 30 minutes.
On-site dispatch, not a callback queue You get a scheduled appointment window, not a vague "someone will call you."
Published response times We measure and publish how fast we actually respond, not just what we promise.
Spare parts on every truck Our technicians carry common replacement parts so most issues are fixed on the first visit.

Maintenance FAQ

Answers for owners and property managers.

Have a question we haven't answered? Call us at (512) 577-5052 or visit our full FAQ page.

It's optional β€” but the majority of our customers enroll for one simple reason: catching small issues before they become expensive ones. A dirty lens or a failing hard drive isn't visible day-to-day, but it can mean the difference between usable footage and lost footage when you actually need it. The annual inspection catches these problems early.

Equipment that fails within its manufacturer warranty is covered β€” we handle the warranty claim on your behalf at no additional labor charge. For out-of-warranty equipment, replacement parts are quoted separately at our standard rates. Maintenance plans cover labor, but not physical parts like cameras and hard drives.

In most cases, yes. We support most major camera and NVR brands including Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Reolink, Ubiquiti, and Honeywell. We'll do a one-time system review during enrollment to make sure we can properly service it. If we can't β€” usually because the equipment is too obscure or discontinued β€” we'll tell you upfront rather than sell you a plan we can't deliver.

You'll receive an email 30 days before your annual inspection is due, with a link to pick a date and time. If you don't respond, we'll follow up by phone. Once you choose a slot, it appears in your service history, and we confirm by text the day before. You'll never get a surprise visit.

Yes, any time β€” no penalty, no cancellation fee, no notice period. Just call or email us and we'll stop the next billing cycle. If you pause and later want to re-enroll, we simply resume where you left off. We'd rather you stay because the service is worth it than because you're locked into a contract.

Yes. Prepaying for a full year saves 10%, and prepaying for two years saves 15%. Commercial customers with multiple sites typically receive additional volume pricing. Ask your account manager for a breakdown during the enrollment call.

Your plan is transferable to the new owner at no cost β€” which is actually a nice selling point when listing a home or commercial property. If you're moving to a new property in Greater Austin, we can transfer the plan to your new system or cancel it, whichever you prefer.
